Curriculum Design

Beginning in 2019, we are diversifying our program to include Japanese and English majors, opening one class of 45 students in each language. Curriculum content has been planned according to the specific requirements of each group, as follows:

  1. Applied English Group

The Applied English Group’s curriculum is designed to cultivate professional personnel with the ability to use English in all kinds of workplaces. Curriculum content is organized in two categories: English skills and professional application. English training courses provide intensive instruction in English reading, writing, speaking and listening and translation, while professional skills are developed in two career-oriented fields – the English Education Industry and the Tourism and Leisure Industry.

In order to strengthen the students’ competitiveness, we assist them to attain English proficiency certifications, cultivate their organizational and analytical skills, and develop their ability to cooperate and communicate in groups. These objectives are achieved through courses such as “English Testing and Assessment Training”, “Project in Applied English” and “Internship in Applied English”.
